Indian citizen stabs girlfriend, commits suicide in Yerevan

Indian citizen D. Babu Shabah Singh committed suicide in Yerevan after he was rejected by his girlfriend.

A man called the police on November 16, saying that a young woman covered in blood came to his house, while the body of an unknown man was lying on the street outside, the Armenian police said. It turned out that a 28-year-old citizen of India proposed to his 24-year-old girlfriend, but she rejected his proposal, after which he stabbed her several times with a knife and committed suicide by cutting his carotid artery.

A criminal case was opened. An investigation is underway.
