Armenia and Russia to jointly use Tsakhkadzor sport complex

A joint delegation of Russia’s Security Council, Sport Ministry, and Olympic Committee is currently on a working visit to Armenia. The delegation is headed by Russian Deputy Minister of Sport Pavel Novikov.

Issues related to the deepening of bilateral cooperation in sports were discussed at the delegation’s meeting with Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council (NSC) Arthur Baghdasarian, the press service of NSC said. The Russian delegation visited some sport facilities, including the main sport complex in the city of Tsakhkadzor.

Both sides showed interest in the joint operation of the Tsakhkadzor sport complex in line with Armenian and Russian laws as well as in the creation of join infrastructure for training Armenian and Russian sportsmen.

A letter of intent was signed based on the visit’s results.
