President Serzh Sargsyan to represent Armenia at Vilnius summit

The Armenian delegation will be represented at the presidential level during the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius on November 28-29, the European Commission said in a statement.

Among the summit participants are 28 EU member states and Eastern Partnership partner countries, namely Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. Moldova and Belarus will be represented by their foreign ministers.

According to preliminary information, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian will attend the Vilnius summit. A day prior to their visit, the Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Artak Zakarian will travel to Vilnius to take part in the meeting of the heads of parliamentary committees on foreign affairs of the Eastern Partnership partner countries.
