Five charged with illegal hunting

During a joint check on November 21, employees of the Yeghegnadzor police station and the Vayots Dzor regional unit of Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection found remains of a bezoar goat with a gunshot wound on a local road, according to the press service of the Armenian police.

It was subsequently found that the bezoar goat was shot by five men who went hunting in a pasture on the same day.

A criminal case was opened on November 26 under the Criminal Code’s Article 294 part 1. An investigation is underway.
