Russia attaches importance to military-technical cooperation with Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today Deputy Director of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Russian Co-Chairman of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation Konstantin Biryulin, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

K. Biryulin arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th sitting of the Commission.

“Armenia considers military-technical cooperation between Armenia and Russia to be especially important and is interested in its deepening,” the prime minister stated. He appreciated Biryulin’s contribution to the strengthening of bilateral military-technical relations.

Konstantin Biryulin said for his part that Russia also attaches importance to military-technical cooperation with Armenia and takes steps aimed at its development.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to military-technical cooperation between Armenia and Russia. K. Biryulin and Armenian Co-Chairman of the Commission, Deputy Defense Minister Alik Mirzabekian informed the prime minister about the results of the 8th sitting of the Intergovernmental Commission.

The sides stressed the mutual understanding on implementation of the agreements reached.
