Razuvayev: Karabakh conflict resolution shelved

The resolution of the Karabakh conflict has been shelved as neither side wants to make concessions and there is a balance of forces, Russian political scientist Alexander Razuvayev told Vesti.az.

He said the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents over the Karabakh problem will have a zero result. In the expert’s opinion, a concession by any of the sides means the loss of face and for that reason ‘any concessions by Azerbaijan as well as Armenia regarding the Karabakh problem are out of the question.”

According to Razuvayev, Baku and Yerevan should realize that the Karabakh conflict is one of the shelved conflicts. “Any attempt to resolve this conflict is laughable as no one wants to make concessions and there is a balance of forces,” he noted.
