Heavy snow in regions, some roads barely passable

It was snowing hard in most regions of Armenia as of 5:30 pm today, Transport and Communications Ministry reported.

Snow removal operations were conducted. Interstate and republican motorways are open.

Truck drivers are urged not to drive on Kuchak-Aparan-Aragats-Spitak motorway.

Due to a snowstorm and low visibility, Sarnaghbyur-Lanjik section of Yerevan-Gyumri Highway is slippery and barely passable.
