Foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan meet in Kiev
During a meeting in Kiev on December 4, Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers came to an agreement to continue discussions on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict in the coming weeks, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
At the meeting in Kiev, Foreign Minsters Edward Nalbandian and Elmar Mamedyarov, Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov, Jacques Faure and James Warlick, and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk continued discussions aimed at advancing the peace process and exchanged views on possible steps to ease tension in the conflict zone, the RA MFA said in a statement.
The mediators and the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan reached an agreement to continue discussions on the peaceful resolution in the coming weeks. In this connection the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will visit the region soon.
