Armenia-EU action plan to be developed

“Armenia will continue active cooperation with the European Union in parallel with its accession to the Customs Union and in this connection we need to develop an Armenia-EU Action Plan that will boost reforms implemented jointly with the EU,” Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasarian said at the sitting of the interdepartmental commission on coordination of Armenian state bodies’ cooperation with European structures.

“It is necessary to work out a 2014-2015 action plan, taking into account the results of the Vilnius summit,” Baghdasarian said.

 According to him, the new Armenia-EU action plan will be submitted to the Armenian president for signature in late January 2014.
