Oskanian meets US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin is on a visit to Armenia. “I and Alexander Arzumanian met with Eric Rubin today. U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern was also present at the meeting. Armenian-American relations, Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union, Armenian-Turkish relations, and the Nagorno Karabakh problem were discussed,” deputy of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) parliamentary faction, former Foreign Minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian wrote on his Facebook page.

According to Oskanian, he will travel to Strasbourg on Wednesday at the invitation of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR). Issues of cooperation between BHK and AECR will be discussed in Strasbourg.

Vartan Oskanian also denied rumors that he intends to quit BHK and set up a new political force. “This information has nothing to do with reality,” he said.
