Snow removal work done in Yerevan

Utility services of the all administrative districts in Yerevan began snow removal operations as soon as the first snow of the season fell in the city yesterday, the press service of Yerevan Municipality said.

126 units of equipment, including snow plows, over 167 tons of salt and 462 cubic meters of sand, were used to remove snow from streets and sidewalks of the city. The snow removal operations continued at night. In addition to the staff of the utility services, young volunteers and those working on a contractual basis were engaged in the snow removal.
