US ambassadors to South Caucasian countries arrive in Yerevan
Armenian-American relations were discussed by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, U.S. ambassadors in the South Caucasian countries and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern, and Deputy Assistant Secretary Eric Rubin took part in a consultation of the U.S. ambassadors in the South Caucasian countries.
Edward Nalbandian stated that Armenian-American relations have entered a qualitatively new stage and there are all the conditions for expansion of cooperation.
Eric Rubin said for his part that the United States attaches importance to multilateral cooperation with Armenia.
The meeting participants discussed actions on promotion of bilateral cooperation and settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and summed up the results of the November meeting of the US-Armenia Task Force. The sides stressed the need for facilitation of the visa regime.
