NKR president receives OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian received today the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Igor Popov, Jacques Faure, and James Warlick and the persons accompanying them, according to the press service of the NKR President’s Office.

Issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and regional developments were discussed at the meeting. The sides attached importance to the peaceful settlement of Azerbaijani-Karabakh relations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.

President Sahakian said that the main preconditions of the process are the restoration of official Stepanakert’s participation in the talks as a full-fledged party and the abandonment of the destructive and aggressive policy by Azerbaijan.

Foreign Minister of the NKR Karen Mirzoyan, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, other officials were present at the meeting.
