Heads of CU states to discuss entry of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan

At the upcoming summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) in Moscow on December 24, the leaders of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will examine the directions of integration cooperation of the member states of the Customs Union (CU) and the Single Economic Space, the press service of the Kremlin said.

“The presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will discuss the main directions of integration cooperation of member states of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space and the work on the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union by January 1, 2015. The preparation and implementation of roadmaps for Armenia’s and Kyrgyzstan’s entry into the Eurasian integration structures will be examined,” the statement reads.

At the conclusion of SEEC summit, documents will be signed concerning a number of joint decisions on the single customs policy, activities of natural monopolies, and competition rules, according to the statement.
