Armenian president congratulates NSS employees

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Day of National Security Officers. According to the presidential press service, the message reads:

‘Respectful employees of National Security bodies of Armenia!

I warmly congratulate you and the veterans of the system on the professional holiday.

This year is a jubilee year for the national security bodies. Following the proclamation of the first Republic of Armenia 95 years ago, intelligence and counterintelligence bodies were established.

You have undergone serious ordeals, become hardened in visible and invisible fronts, shaped new traditions and gained invaluable experience. You have made a great contribution to the neutralization of threats against our state and society.

Today there are all prerequisites for your professional progress and improvement. I am convinced that you will continue your mission with honor and professional capacities. New realities and challenges of the modern world and our region must get adequate reaction.

I once again congratulate you on the holiday and wish you good health, intellectual and physical vigor, and new achievements for the benefit of the Armenian people and state’.
