Government commission set up to organize L. Khechoyan’s funeral

A government commission has been set up to organize the funeral of publicist Levon Khechoyan, Armenian Ministry of Culture said.

L. Khechoyan was born in 1955 in Baralet village of Akhalkalaki region in Georgia.

The Armenian government earlier allocated 20,000 euros for his treatment abroad. The publicist underwent post-surgery rehabilitation in Germany and was transported to Yerevan.

Levon Khechoyan was a participant of the Karabakh war.
