30 incidents recorded in Armenian army in 2013

There were 30 incidents in the Armenian armed forces in 2013, as a result of which 31 servicemen died, according to a study by Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office.

In 14 cases the Defense Ministries of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh were the primary source of information. Official releases were issued following 24 of the 31 incidents.

The number of deaths in the army declined in 2013 compared with the previous years, but there was no decline in incidents resulting in death.
