Police arrest hit-and-run driver who injured 6th grader

Police received information that at 4:00 pm on January 10 Zaruhi S., a 6th grader, was admitted to a hospital with multiple injuries after being hit by a car in Verin Shengavit neighborhood of Yerevan.

Policemen found out that Gagik K., 23, hit the girl with his Mercedes and fled the scene around 3:50 pm on the same day.

At 10:00 pm on January 10 the driver was detained. An investigation is being conducted.
