Municipality: Business entities should clean adjacent areas

Yerevan Municipality controls the implementation of the decision on compulsory improvement of adjacent general-use areas by business entities. According to decision No 48 of December 2, 2009 by Yerevan Council of Elders, each business entity shall keep the adjacent area clean and well-attended.

In the winter months business entities should also do snow removal work, i.e. remove snow and ice from reinforced concrete and tiled surfaces of adjacent sidewalks when the snow stops.

The municipality warns that administrative penalties will be on business entities who fail to fulfill their obligations.
