Mikael Manukian to replace Vahan Hovhannisian in NA

At the regular sitting today, the Central Election Commission of Armenia invalidated the registration of candidate for deputy Aramais Grigorian included in the proportional list of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party based on his application for withdrawal of his candidacy.

Based on the National Assembly speaker’s protocol of December 28, 2013 on termination of powers of Vahan Hovhannisian as deputy of the NA, the Central Election Commission drew up a protocol on giving the deputy mandate of V. Hovhannisian to Mikael Manukian who is the next person on the ARFD Party’s proportional electoral list.

We would remond you that Vahan Hovhannisian has been appointed Armenian Ambassador to Germany.
