ICRC representatives visit Verin Karmiraghbyur village
Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Armenian Office visited yesterday the village of Verin Karmiraghbyur. A village resident, 77-year-old Mamikon Khojoyan, crossed into Azerbaijani territory on January 28.
“ICRC representatives went to the village yesterday. They clarified some details about M. Khojoyan and promised to send an inquiry to their colleagues in Baku,” the village administrator Kamo Chobanian told Aysor.am.
In his words, M. Khojoyan’s grandchild handed a letter to the ICRC representatives.
M. Khojoyan crossed into Azerbaijani territory on January 28. He has health problems and is registered as a mental patient.
