Presidents of Armenia and Czech Republic sign documents

During his state visit to the Czech Republic, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met today with Czech President Milos Zeman, the press service of the Armenian president said.

The talks of the two presidents were followed by a ceremony of signing bilateral documents on the development and strengthening of cooperation in a number of spheres.

The documents signed include the agreement between the Armenian and Czech governments about cooperation on the fight against organized crime, the agreement between the two governments on economic and industrial cooperation, the agreement between the Armenian and Czech health ministries on cooperation in healthcare and medical science, the memorandum of understanding between Armenian ministry of emergency situations and Czech ministry of internal affairs concerning cooperation on disaster prevention and elimination of consequences, the memorandum of understanding between Armenian ministry of nature protection and Czech ministry of the environment on environmental cooperation, etc.

Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Milos Zeman then gave a joint press conference.
