Israel Sargsyan detained on suspicion of killing Arthur Safarian

Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Yerevan Police along with the 3rd special patrol squad detained on February 3 Israel Sargsyan, 45, on suspicion of killing Arthur Safarian. The suspect was taken to the Main Criminal Investigation Department, according to the police.

During a search, the police found a Beretta pistol on I. Sargsyan and sent the pistol for tests.

41-year-old Arthur Safarian was killed on January 28. He was the brother of the man nicknamed Tevosik who is well-known in the criminal underworld.
