36-year-old man stabbed to death in Yerevan

The Nor Nork police station in Yerevan was informed by a hospital late Saturday that a drunken man with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen was admitted to the hospital. On the following day – February 9, he died in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness.

The man turned out to be Vardan Manukian, 36. The police found out that around 8:15 pm on February 8 Aksel N., 38, stabbed V. Manukian during an argument. Aksel N. was later detained. A criminal case was opened under Article 112 part 1 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
