Cleaning woman detained for jewelry theft

Kristine N., 36, was detained on February 10 on suspicion of theft, according to the Armenian police.

Employed to work as a cleaning woman in a Yerevan apartment, she regularly stole gold jewelry with a total value of 800,000 drams from the apartment from November 2013 to February 9, 2014.

An investigation is underway.
