Armenian-populated district of Damascus comes under artillery attacks

Armenian-populated Jaramana district of Damascus came under an artillery attack. There were injured people and damage was done, Azdak reported, noting clashes between government troops and rebels continue in eastern suburbs of the capital.

It is relatively calm in downtown Damascus and those suburbs where the sides have concluded an armistice.

The population of Damascus has increased sharply in recent days: people are moving from suburbs to the capital city where they feel more or less secure, according to the mass media.
