Armenian president awards Mkhitar Gosh Medal to Otto Luchterhandt

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today a recognized expert in international law and legal order in Eastern European countries – Prof. Otto Luchterhandt of University of Hamburg who has carried out active legal advisory work in our republic since Armenia’s independence, according to the presidential press service.

Expressing appreciation for Otto Luchterhandt’s role in strengthening Armenia’s legal system, Serzh Sargsyan presented a high state award -the Mkhitar Gosh Medal to him.

President Sargsyan stressed that Otto Luchterhandt is a scholar who deserves this award thanks to his long activities in the legal filed, his devotion to academic values, and his professional advice for the benefit of Armenia and the Armenian people.
