Government approves amount of lump-sum child birth benefit

At the session today the Armenian government approved the amount of lump-sum child birth benefits, according to the press office of the Armenian government.

Under the new decision, the lump-sum benefit in connection with the birth of first or second child amounts to 50,000 drams. The government has changed the amount of benefits in connection with the birth of a third or fourth child, increasing it to one million drams. Benefits of 1.5 million drams will be paid for the birth of a fifth or sixth child.
