Fire damages living room of apartment in Avan district

Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received information at 5:54 am today about a fire in a 7th floor apartment in Avan-Arinj administrative district of Yerevan, the press service of MES said.

Two fire brigades and a fire engine of MES were sent to the scene. Another two fire brigades and two rapid response groups of MES were later dispatched later.

The fire was contained at 6:34 am and extinguished at 6:58 am. the living room with its furniture (25 square. m.) were damaged.

Two residents received burns. They were provided medical aid on the spot.
