Armenian president congratulates Kurdish community on Nowruz

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Kurdish community on the feast of Nowruz, according to the presidential press service. Serzh Sargsyan said the friendship and neighborhood of the two peoples has a centuries-old history, while the Kurdish community is an important part of Armenian society.

“We consider your problems to be ours as well and we rejoice over your achievements together with you. I wish all your wishes are fulfilled this year so that the New Year will be a year of affluence, well-being and prosperity for the Kurds residing in Armenia,” the president said.
