Azerbaijani mercenaries fight in Syria

‘Speaker of Syria’s National Assembly Mr. Jihad al-Laham confirmed the reports that there are Azerbaijani mercenaries among members of the armed groups that penetrated into the territory of Syria,” Armenian parliamentary deputy Samvel Farmanian wrote on his Facebook page.

Farmanian and five other members of the Armenian parliament left for Syria to become familiar with the Kesab events. The delegation is scheduled to meet with Syrian President Bashar Assad today.
