Proshian village residents block Yerevan-Ashtarak highway

Some 500 residents of Proshian village in Kotayk province of Armenia blocked Yerevan-Ashtarak Highway, demanding solution of village administrator Hrach Muradian’s murder.

Hrach Muradian was killed exactly a year ago in front of the village administration building. The preliminary investigation has not finished so far. Those who ordered and committed the crime have been found.

“Nothing is known yet. We will not open the road until progress is made in this case. Our demand is to solve the crime,” protesters said.
