Zhamanak: Nairit workers to receive one month’s wage

Management of Nairit Plant CJSC promised workers to pay one month’s wages, but it is unclear when the wage arrears will be paid, according to ‘Zhamanak’ paper.

Workers of the plant told the paper’s correspondent that they now work part-time (2/3) and are paid less. “They said we will receive one month’s wages this week. This situation has continued for over a year. They say that negotiations are underway with Russia, but they are quite vague,’ Nairit workers said.

When asked if it is true that the plant management forbids them to stage protest actions, one worker replied: “I don’t know, no one threatened me”.
