Heritage Party indicates need for meeting at level of party heads

Heritage Party has today issued a statement, indicating the need to hold a meeting at the level of heads of the four non-coalition political forces.

“Heritage Party has always supported consolidation of political and civil forces, being aware that only in this way can the complex situation in our country be changed. With this aim we have become one of the initiators of cooperation of the four parliamentary forces. Although we always stated and we believe now that a systemic and full change of power is needed in the country, in the current political situation the demand for the government resignation as a stage-by-stage and tactical step has become a coordinated political agenda of the four non-coalition political forces. The prime minister’s resignation unplanned by the authorities was a result of that consolidation and the efficient joint actions of civil organizations, which has a real potential to finally change the situation. The priority problem today is to replace the format of intra-parliamentary cooperation of the opposition by a single inter-party camp that may become yet another stage of popular riot.

For this reason we consider it a priority to organize a meeting at the level of leaders of the four political forces, during which the first persons will reach an agreement about tactics of their actions and a strategy of joint struggle. We consider such a meeting a necessary condition for further cooperation of the four parliamentary factions,” the statement reads.
