Health ministry hotline gets 3,168 calls this year

The hotline of Armenian Health Ministry was set up in 2000. The 24-hour hotline provides information and assistance to citizens concerning any problem.

The hotline received 3,168 calls on January 1- March 31, 2014, including 1,810 calls requesting information, 175 calls related to free health care of children, 97 obstetrics-related calls, 344 calls about specialized health care, 251 calls about primary care, 212 calls concerning drugs, according to Health Ministry.

82 calls were complaints, which were examined and dealt with.

The hotline is under direct supervision of Armenian health minister. The minister and the chief of Health Ministry Staff are informed about each complaint and problem.
