Sargsyan: Karabakh people’s right to self-determination indefeasible

"The Karabakh settlement issue can and should be resolved only by peaceful means, on the basis of norms and principles of international law,” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at the joint press conference with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat.

“The right of Nagorno Karabakh people to self-determination is indefeasible and its de-facto organization should be recorded de jure. We are grateful to Turkmenistan for its understanding and neutrality on the issue, which is most important to us,” the Armenian president said.
