President holds consultations with members of ARFD, BHK and OEK

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held today political consultations with representatives of the National Assembly’s factions in connection with formation of the Armenian government, the presidential press service said.

The leaders of ARFD, Prosperous Armenia party (BHK), and Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK) represented in the Armenian parliament were also present at the meeting.

On behalf of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun, the meeting was attended by ARFD Bureau member Hrant Margarian, head of ARFD parliamentary faction Armen Rustamian, and parliamentary deputy Aghvan Vardanian.

From BHK party, the leader of BHK, head of BHK faction Gagik Tsarukian, deputes Stepan Margarian and Vartan Oskanian participated in the consultations with the Armenian president.

From OEK party, the chairman of OEK Arthur Baghdasarian, head of OEK faction Heghine Bisharian and parliamentary deputy Hovhannes Margarian participated in the meeting.

President Serzh Sargsyan earlier conducted political consultations over the formation of the government and the Armenian prime minister’s candidacy with the leading body of the ruling political force – the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and various sections of HHK.

During the April 3 sitting of the Executive Body of the ruling HHK, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan handed in his resignation. President Serzh Sargsyan accepted his resignation.
