Zvartnost airport flights increase, ticket prices decline

There has been an increase in air services in the past few months, according to Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.

Passenger traffic of Zvartnots made 136,730 passengers in April 2014, growing by 17% as compared to 116,838 passengers in April 2013.

The number of flights increased by 40%: 1,643 flights were operated in April 2014 compared to 1,175 flights in April 2013.
33 airlines currently operate flights through Zvartnost Airport (27 airlines operated previously). Besides, these airlines increased the number of flights, which resulted in a fall of ticket prices.
