Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II visits government

The Supreme Patriarch, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II visited today the Armenian government. He said at a meeting with Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamian that he attaches great importance to the intensification of cooperation between the state and the church, according to the press office of the government.

“We know that numerous problems and tasks are facing the government. I wish you strength, vigor and ability to reach results which will come up to expectations of our people,” His Holiness said.

In the words of Hovik Abrahamian, the further activities of the government will be aimed at dealing with the problems existing in various spheres, with concrete programs to be implemented towards this end.
