Deputy prime minister presents new governor of Kotayk province

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgian today presented the new governor of Kotayk province Aram Harutyunaian to the regional administration staff, according to the press service of Ministry of Territorial Administration.

Armen Gevorgian thanked the former governor Kovalenko Shahgaldian for cooperation, commending his long work. He expressed hope that the former governor’s knowledge and experience will prove useful in public administration in the future.

Presenting Aram Harutyunian, the deputy prime minister said that he has worked in the government for many years and is familiar with the existing problems. Aram Harutynian has served as nature protection minister in recent years.

Armen Gevorgian said he intends to visit communities of the country to familiarize himself with the implementation of regional programs.
