2014-2016 Armenia-NATO Cooperation Action Plan ready

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan and Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan attended a “28+Armenia” meeting of NATO in Brussels, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

Edward Nalbandyan appreciated efficient cooperation under the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) Program. In his words, the 4th Action Plan for 2014-2016 is ready. He expressed hope that the plan will be approved soon and its implementation will start.

Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan spoke about the reforms in defense sphere, attaching importance to Armenia-NATO cooperation.

The meeting participants expressed satisfaction with the results of bilateral cooperation, the process of reforms, and Armenia’s participation in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and Kosovo.

The foreign and defense ministers of Armenia also met with NATO Secretary General Anders Fough Rasmussen.
