Arthur Javadyan elected chairman of Central Bank of Armenia

The Armenian parliament today voted for the candidacy of Arthur Javadyan as chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA). Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had proposed A. Javadyan as candidate for CBA chairman for a term of six years.

Of the 79 deputies who participated in the vote, 77 voted in favor of Javadyan, two voted against.
