Haykakan Zhamanak: MES head cannot be oppositionist

When asked about the reasons of his withdrawal from Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK), Armenian Minister of Emergency Situation Armen Yeritsyan told ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily: “We had different views. I repeatedly said I cannot be an oppositionist. I was a policeman, now I am the head of MES. For this reason I quit that party”.

Asked if he sees OEK as an opposition party, the minister replied: “Time will show”.
