Prime minister: School years are memorable to me

“The Last Bell” traditional ceremonies took place in Armenian high schools today. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan attended such a ceremony in Yerevan senior school No 119. The participants included Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs, deputy Ms. Ruzanna Muradyan, parents and guests.

On behalf of the Armenian government and himself, the prime minister congratulated the school graduates and wished them success.

“I take pride in you as our next generation,” Hovik Abrahamyan told pupils, urging them to study well and gain experience. He thanked the teachers for raising the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism. Then the prime minister watched a concert prepared by schoolchildren.

During a talk with reporters, H. Abrahamyan said that his school years are memorable to him. In his words, educational opportunities for youths now are better than in the past and the authorities will do their best to create an appropriate environment for education and upbringing.

The prime minister said that such meetings inspire him and he believes that Armenia and Artsakh will have a bright future.
