Spokeswoman: Deputy minister of sports was dismissed by PM’s decision

Armenian deputy minister of sport and youth affairs Nazaret Mnatsakanyan was relieved of his position by a decision of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the ministry spokeswoman Anush Chitchyan told Aysor.am. “The decision was posted on the government website,” she said.

‘Hayakakan Zhamanak’ daily wrote today that a ‘cadre massacre’ started at Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs after the appointment of the new minister. In particular, the new minister, Gabriel Ghazaryan, intends to give ministry jobs to people close to him, the paper said.
