Ambassador to Ukraine and deputy FM vie for Russian ambassador post

‘Chorrord Ishkhanutyun’ writes that Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan are vying for the post of Armenian ambassador to Russia. The term of the current ambassador to Russia, Oleg Yesayan, will expire soon.

According to the paper’s sources, Russia is against both candidacies.
