Escalation of situation fraught with grave consequences for Azerbaijan

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received toady Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, according to the press service of Defense Ministry.

The minister called upon A. Kasprzyk to take efficient measures in order to defuse tension on the Line of Contact as the current escalation of the situation in the operational environment is fraught with grave consequences for Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Kasprzyk expressed concern and promised to take steps on de-escalation of the situation on the Line of Contact.

Two Armenian servicemen were killed by Azerbaijani sniper fire yesterday.
