OSCE to hold planned monitoring of Line of Contact
In accordance with an agreement with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, on June 10 the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Hadrut direction near Horadiz settlement, according to the press service of NKR MFA.
On the Armenian side the monitoring will be conducted by the Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine), Staff Member of the Office Peter Svedberg , as well as the OSCE High Level Planning Group representative, Lieutenant-Colonel Dan Harvey (Switzerland).
From the opposite side the monitoring will be held by the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, his Field Assistant Christo Christov (Bulgaria), as well as the OSCE High Level Planning Group representative, Colonel Ilhami Degirmencioglu (Turkey).
The NKR authorities expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
