Armenian church in Mosul comes under rocket fire
The Saint Etchmiadzin Armenian Church in Mosul came under rocket fire today. The rockets were fired by Tahesh armed group, Masis Shahinyan, a spiritual leader of the Armenian community in Iraq, was quoted as saying by Lradou.com.
A fire broke out. No victims were reported.
65 Armenian families fled the city of Mosul and found shelter in Irpil, Thok and other regions after anti-government militants captured Mosul.
