Serzh Sargsyan congratulates Russian president on Russia Day

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan toady sent a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the national holiday – Russia Day, the presidential press service said.

Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Vladimir Putin and the Russian citizens on the holiday. He wished good health and further success to Vladimir Putin and peace and prosperity to the Russian people.

The Armenian president stressed that Armenian-Russian relations, which are based on the centuries-old friendship of the Armenian and Russian peoples, are developing today in the spirit of allied cooperation. According to him, the fruitful political dialog and the strategic nature of interstate partnership enable to reach significant results in all the directions.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed confidence that while relying on the strong bonds of strategic relations, Armenia and Russia will consistently deepen commercial-economic, military-technical and humanitarian cooperation, building their multidimensional integration cooperation with the aim of increasing the wellbeing of citizens of the two states. This meets the fundamental interests of our countries in terms of ensuring regional stability and security.
